What I offer
At Achieve Tuition, I offer a wide range of individual learning plans to tutor the needs of learners.
My name is Darrell Oakden and I have taught in Primary Schools for 24 years and during that time I have worked with every class from reception to year 6. I having been teaching at Achieve Tuition since September 2018 and I have a wealth of experience that will help to design sessions to help your child reach their full potential.
Children come to us for a variety of reasons, for example:
Children in year 2 or year 6 who would like additional support when working towards Key Stage one or two SATs tests.
Students who have specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD or ASD.
Students who are having difficulty or who have gaps in their learning in English, for example, in reading, grammar and punctuation, writing composition or spelling.
Children who lack confidence, particularly in a classroom setting.
Students who are having difficulty in any area of Mathematics.
Children who want to accelerate their learning beyond what can be offered at school.
Speciality
At the moment, I specialise in tuition for children aged 5 -13. However, this age bracket is not set in stone and I will help you if I can. Please email or phone me for details of sessions for other age groups.
